REALTOR® of the Year

REALTOR® of the Year recognizes those who have served the real estate profession and their communities.

REALTOR® of the YEAR must:

  • be a member in good standing of the Aiken Association of REALTORS®.
  • have been a member of the Association for at least three (3) years and must have served as an officer, director, or participant on a committee during the last three (3) years.
  • have attended at least two (2) AAOR events in 2024.
  • be a full-time licensed broker or salesperson and work in the day-to-day field of Real Estate.
  • be active in civic or community affairs.
  • be a leader.
  • have earned the respect of fellow REALTORS® through their actions in the day-to-day business of Real Estate.
  • be honest, and trustworthy.
  • must display the highest degree of unquestionable integrity and moral character with associates, clients, and the public.
  • adhere with strict compliance to our Code of Ethics.

Rookie of the Year

Initiated in 2023, Rookie of the Year is awarded to a REALTOR® member of the Aiken Association of REALTORS® with less than 24 months experience for outstanding effort in the interest of their profession, customers, clients, and community. Candidates are nominated by their Broker in Charge or Managing Broker.

Rookie of the YEAR Eligibility & Criteria:

  • Is a member in good standing of the Aiken Association of REALTORS®.
  • Must be newly licensed and joined AAOR within 24 months before nomination.
  • Must be a full-time licensed broker or salesperson and work in the day-to-day field of Real Estate.
  • Demonstrates REALTOR® Spirit: high principles of integrity, adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, and furtherance of good real estate practice principles
  • Civic Activity: Participation in civic and service clubs, charitable activities, political commissions, fraternal or religious groups.
  • Business Accomplishments: professional business conduct and service to clients.
  • Participation in AAOR by attending at least two events or serving on a committee.

Good Neighbor Award

the Initiated in 2023, the Good Neighbor Award will be awarded to a REALTOR® or Affiliate Member of Aiken Association of REALTORS® who impacts our community through volunteer work. The winner will receive a $1,000 donation to a 501(c)3 charity of their choice.
